Apartment Mneme is part of a house located in a green, cozy part of the town of Hvar, surrounded by similar family houses near the 4* hotel Amfora. The first beach is about a minute walk away and the town center only 10 minutes on foot. A casual stroll by the sea or down the little streets of Hvar leads us to the back of the house with apartment Mneme on the first floor. We climb up the stone staircase followed by the scent of sea salt and citrus trees – and here we are.
The apartment is very spacious; it covers 100 square meters and has a 20 square-meter balcony. It was built in 1975 and it was renovated several times since then; the last renovation took place in 2013.
Upon entrance we find ourselves in a wide hallway, with two storage rooms for laundry, ideal for leaving excess baggage, things, or beach equipment, immediately to the left.
A bit further to the left are two out of three bedrooms. The third bedroom is to the right of the hallway.
Each of the bedrooms is preceded by a small outer room, and each has its own en suite bathroom with a bath. The rooms are bright, with big matrimonial beds, equipped with satellite TV and air conditioning. Modern furniture, wooden floors, and blue, green and white hues give each bedroom a personal touch and a retro marine feel.
The front bedroom is more special due to its link to the balcony: during the day, the terrace basks in the sun, and its moonlit evenings make it ideal for romantic resting. Don’t forget to come outside once in a while.
Walk to the end of the hallway and turn right to enter the living room. It comprises a fully equipped kitchen with a big dining table for six. The room is very spacious, modern, discreet, and comfortable. It has a lounge area, that is, a big couch with an LCD TV.
The balcony, which is big enough so that all the guests can find their place under the sun, extends to the living room. You can start enjoying your view of the big blue and the green and orange patchwork of roofs and pine trees to the fullest…
Due to the vicinity of the beach and the town center, Mneme is attractive and relaxing: a quite comfortable choice for a bigger family, a few couples or a group of friends who will enjoy the vicinity of beaches and green surroundings, as well as the city center, restaurants, and galleries.
