Villa Features
The villa Hermes is just a 20-minute walk away from the centre of Hvar. This villa is situated on a simply fantastic location, surrounded by greenery and pine trees, in the second row from the sea, beneath a cliff, with a spectacular 180° view of the shimmering Adriatic Sea and the neighbouring islands. Located at the very end of a dead-end street, there is no traffic noise there - but there are some private parking spaces.
Description of the villa in numbers as follows: Hermes was built in 2000. The whole estate spreads across 2000m2, with the villa itself covering cca 700m2. The ground floor of the villa covers cca 150m2, the first floor covers cca 185m2, the second floor covers cca 165m2, and in addition there are also the welcome area and a professional kitchen of cca 55m2 plus a garage size cca 45m2.
Next to the villa the guests can take pleasure in a beautiful private infinity swimming pool. Heated, if necessary. Around the pool guests can relax on sun loungers while parasols protect them from the sun. Moreover, they can enjoy and relax on three terraces of which each offers a spectacular panoramic sea view. Terraces are surrounded by pure nature and there are no neighbours next to them.
All seven bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, an Internet connection (Wi-Fi), and air conditioning (heating or cooling). Most of the furniture is tailor-made from high quality wood. Six rooms offer an unobstructed view of the sea, only 7th room offers no sea view, no direct light as it is often used as connecting – family room. Rooms can easily accommodate large families or groups of friends, with the maximum occupancy of fourteen people.
The bedrooms are distributed over three floors. The ground floor contains four bedrooms, as follows in the story on Hermes.
Bedroom 1 covers 30m2 and it is equipped with twin beds that can be connected or separated, sofa bed that pulls out and can be used as an extra bed, and a large bathroom with a shower. A terrace with a sea view can be accessed through a sliding window wall.
Bedroom 2 covers 30m2, it is also equipped with twin beds that can be connected or separated, sofa bed that pulls out and can be used as an extra bed, and a bathroom with a shower. It has a sea view terrace that can be accessed from the bedroom.
Bedroom 3 covers 15m2, it has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom, and direct access to the terrace which offers you a fantastic sea view.
Bedroom 4 covers 12m2, it has a king-size bed, en-suite bathroom and no sea view or direct sunlight; it can be used separately or connected with Bedroom 3.
On the first floor of the villa guests can find the fifth room, which is a very spacious room of 25m2 with twin beds that can be connected or separated, a terrace and a separate living room the size of 20m2 in which there are a sofa and a fireplace. The living room also offers a magnificent sea view. The en-suite bathroom is very large and has a bathtub and a shower.
On the same floor there is a very spacious apartment the size of 120m2 that has its own, separate entrance, and is the central living area of the villa. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dining room and a massive wooden dining table for fourteen people, a large living room that offers an unobstructed sea view, and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom that is reached by a spiral staircase. This is our favourite sleeping room in Villa Hermes. The living room and the bedroom lead to the balconies located on the south side of the villa. The balconies offer a view of splendid sunsets and a panoramic view of the sea and neighbouring islands. From the living room the guests can access an outside seating area that has a fireplace.
The second floor of the villa is reserved for an exclusive suite with a comfortable bedroom with a king size bed and a dressing room. Sliding doors separate the living room from the bedroom. From the bedroom guests can go out to the balcony which is equipped with deck chairs. The bathroom is equipped with a shower and a bathtub from which you can also enjoy a magnificent sea view. Another large private terrace is located in front of the suite and it is an ideal spot for enjoying your vacation as it offers the most amazing sea view and an outdoor living space where you can relax in sun loungers with umbrellas.

If we were to describe this villa in a few words, we would say the following: Villa Hermes is a fantastic (at times even scientific-fantastic) combination of the East and the West. Have you noticed the fireplace in the shape of a spacecraft in one of the rooms? That is a detail you cannot easily forget. Tiled floors, stone walls, a number of decorated wooden details, tapestry stretching as far as you can see, a colourful design of the bathrooms, a number of arches, a true opulence of diverse details, decorated candelabra, a variety of tendrils wherever you look – all that wrapped up in a huge soft-pink package with a large blue bow in the form of the infinity pool located at the bottom. That is Hermes, a unique place with great energy. It is amazing in a very special way. Hard to describe, so... You will see.

The reception with Concierge is situated in an auxiliary building right at the entrance of the property. In the separate building next to the Villa is an equipped professional kitchen. The kitchen is not part of the rental agreement and it can only be used by the official Chef of the Villa for in-villa dining purposes.
