Cottage Features
Cottage Charon was built in 1967, which can easily be recognized by architecture buffs from this area. It has been renovated several times, reconstructed in 2000, and then renovated again in 2018 and 2020.
The total area of the property covers 600m2. The interior of Cottage Charon spreads over 120m2 of ground floor and first floor of the house, while the garden covers 500 m2.
The absolute highlight of the villa is a charming Mediterranean garden located by the sea and its beautiful resident – a 70-year-old pine tree. The garden guarantees you privacy, while the gorgeous old pine tree provides you with natural shade and good company while you’re chilling in the garden, reading a book or just listening to crickets.
What does Charon look like? You enter the property from the promenade by the sea; after you enter a small iron gate, you walk along the garden path to the door of the cottage. As soon as you open it, you enter a large open space consisting of a living room and a dining room. The kitchen is on the right, next to a bathroom with a shower tray. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the kitchen glass door leads to the terrace, that is, to the garden.
From the living room, a glass door leads you to the garden and patio with garden furniture suited for relaxation, ideal for any time of the day, but especially pleasant for morning breakfasts with the smell of pine resin and a view of the azure sea. The garden furniture is brand new, bought in 2020, and for connoisseurs we will add that the sun loungers are Royal Botania and the lounge set is Ego Paris.
A staircase leading to the first floor is located at the entrance of the house. On the first floor, there is a small toilet and 3 bedrooms. The master double bedroom has a king size bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, and it offers a sea view. The second double bedroom has a matrimonial bed and a sea view. The third double bedroom is small and has two separate single beds, ideal for children. Each bedroom has an AC and a wardrobe, and all beds have new mattresses, which is also important to note. The bathrooms were renovated in 2020.
Cottage Charon is a very special cottage for several reasons. The first is the location. The second is vibration. The third is architecture and interior design. Namely, there is something about Cottage Charon that is irresistibly reminiscent of the ‘60s. In fact, there is a lot of it. Maybe that’s why it reminds us of cavaliers and ladies, of Marshal Tito and Sophia Loren, but also of Woodstock, Lennon, and Janis. Memories are a wonderful thing.
A lot of memories will remain after your stay at Cottage Charon. It doesn't matter if you come with children, with a lover or with friends, the memories will be just as strong and, without a doubt, unforgettable.
