Located in the very heart of Jelsa, Villa Natalis will win your heart not only because of its stunning location, but also for its comfort, sense of ease and luxury, for its art – and its minimalism – because Natalis focuses solely on what truly matters.

Villa Features

Natalis is an authentic Mediterranean stone house located in the old town center of Jelsa. It’s quite imposing – even majestic – so you’ll never be short on space in this villa. Over 200 years old, the house underwent a thorough renovation a few years ago. It has retained its authenticity and is part of the Villas Hvar heritage collection. The year 2025 marks its first season of rental.

The villa spans the ground floor, first and second floors, plus an attic loft space. The total area across all levels is 600 m². The pool measures 30 m², each floor including the attic has 150 m², and the terraces add up to 150 m².

We won’t complicate things with a detailed description this time – if you’d like more details, feel free to email us. Here are just the key points, to help you decide if you and Natalis are a match made in heaven.

The ground floor includes a garage and a hallway that, in this villa, is a beautiful gallery space. There’s also a laundry room and a staircase leading to the first floor.

The first floor features an open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen, two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms (one with a shower, the other with a bathtub), a hallway, a terrace with a summer kitchen, an outdoor pool, and a sun deck.

The second floor includes another living room, dining area, and kitchen, one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (bathtub), and a terrace connected to the first-floor pool via a charming outdoor spiral staircase. For some reason – we’re not quite sure why – we really love that spiral staircase.

The attic includes a gallery space designed for relaxation and work, another bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (shower), and an attic terrace overlooking the village of Pitve and the hills of Hvar. From the top floor, you also get a view of the entire Jelsa harbor.

All four bedrooms have matrimonial beds. There are also four bathrooms: two with shower trays and two with bathtubs. And what's very convenient about this villa is that you can have privacy in case, for example, two families are on vacation - because there are two kitchens, two dining rooms and two living rooms.

Interestingly, Natalis is the birthplace of the renowned Croatian sculptor Slavomir Drinković, so it's no surprise that the villa’s interior is deeply dedicated to art. All the paintings are by artist Natalija Drinković, the villa houses several sculptures by Slavomir Drinković, and glass artworks by Gordana Drinković, Slavomir’s wife. Guests at Villa Natalis can purchase or commission artworks – paintings, glass pieces, or sculptures – from these artists.

In addition to the visual art, the villa also offers a curated selection of premium wines from the famous Jelsa winemaker Plenković, available for guests at an additional charge if they wish to indulge.

Natalis is the kind of villa that provides its guests with a truly revitalizing retreat for both body and soul, with a focus solely on what truly matters.
